Stretching Video: Psoas (Hip Flexor)

by Bruce Jackson, Registered Massage Therapist on April 18, 2009

Psoas is a hip flexor located in the abdomen. Dysfunction of this muscle can be a factor in low back pain. This stretch will help lengthen the muscle.

With this stretch you may want to place a pillow under the knee that is on the floor. This will help alleviate discomfort in that knee.
